Concept/Introduction

A 360 degree shooter in which the player is equipped with nothing but a slingshot.

Story

The player is camping in the middle of the woods. They are surprised when monsters appear and begin attacking them, attracted to their campfire. Their goal is to survive the night until day, which in game will be three waves of monsters.

Characters

Evan, a guy who likes to hike and camp in the wilderness

Level/Environment Design

Campsite in the middle of a forest, dark at night

Gameplay

Enemies approach from all sides and the player has to protect their campfire from the monsters. Every time an enemy reaches the player, their light level dwindles. Each enemy has two lives.

Art

Inspired by Dark Souls, Slender, and Amnesia. 2D sprites in a 3D world.

Sound and Music

General forest ambience, creepy effect noises and wind, fire crackling, monster sounds, rubber band creak for slingshot pulling back

User Interface, Game Controls

UI - interaction with various things in the scene brings up canvases?

Controls - Motion Controls, Vive controls

Accessibility

Oughta be fine for deaf people and colorblind people.
