Progress Report:

  • Got acceleration/deceleration to work
  • Multiplayer splitscreen works well
  • Connected four Xbox controllers easily enough
  • Switching gravity code works like a charm thanks to John’s help
  • Created double-sided track
  • Whenever a player falls off the edge, they respawn at the last checkpoint they crossed

• Got placement system and lap system to work

• Added neon lights

• Added particle systems

• Fixed lighting in a way that works how I like it

• Added arrows that show players  which direction to go

• Added preliminary drifting mechanic (which will be prone to change)

• Random obstacle placement

• 3D Car model
